From 057e32dc1527c80a05c7d4def37e01b4be6288b3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Xi Ruoyao Date: Thu, 4 Jan 2024 09:26:13 +0800 Subject: [PATCH] mips64el: glibc: Document additional test failures And, tst-arc4random-thread *always* fail on my system. The failure seems a real issue and it will be catastrophic if triggered in a real application. I guess it's a kernel issue and I'll investigate later. --- chapter08/glibc.xml | 20 ++++++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 20 insertions(+) diff --git a/chapter08/glibc.xml b/chapter08/glibc.xml index 39923c03b..fce89c315 100644 --- a/chapter08/glibc.xml +++ b/chapter08/glibc.xml @@ -185,6 +185,26 @@ esac the original timeout. + + On MIPS, six elf audit tests, the test named + elf/tst-ro-dynamic, and the test named + elf/tst-sprof-basic are known to fail. + + + + + The stdlib/tst-arc4random-thread + test is known to fail with some host kernel versions due to a + kernel bug on MIPS. + + + + + Six math tests are known to fail due + to outdated test data. + + Additionally, some tests may fail with a relatively old CPU model (for example
