Implementation Plan & Order

  1. Phase 1: Project Configuration (#41)

    • Update Xcode project and CI to enforce the new minimum target.
    • Blocks all subsequent PRs in this milestone to prevent macOS 14 APIs from slipping back in.

  2. Phase 2: Core State Refactoring (#42)

    • Revert @Observable to ObservableObject across SystemTelemetryStore, TelemetryHistoryStore, AlertEngine, etc.
    • Must be completed before UI work, as the UI heavily relies on these stores.

  3. Phase 3: UI & Lifecycle Adaptations (#43, #44)

    • #43 (App Lifecycle): Replace NavigationSplitView and MenuBarExtra. Re-wire @State to @StateObject.
    • #44 (UI Shims): Shim LabeledContent, .monospaced(), and provide Canvas fallbacks for Swift Charts.
    • These two can be implemented concurrently by different engineers once the state model (#42) is finalized.
